Well, my birthday is now officially over until next year and I must say it was one of my favorites!! The best part was getting to share it all with one of my dearest friends, Alli, who drove over to spend the night and be there for everything. We started the day off with blueberry muffins and fruit, then went to get lattes at the Coffee Cabin. I tried an English Toffee Latte, which was really good! Around 10 we headed back to the house to lay Emma down and make peanut butter chocolate chip cookies for a little birthday picnic with my girlfriends. I put my camera down for most of the day, just to be able to relax and take everything in. Here are the pics I did take:
Emma started the day out hangin with Sammi on the couch sippin from her sippy cup!

- a few sweets gifts from the picnic…

Later that evening, we met up with my best friend from high school/college, sister-in-law, mom, and mom-in-law and went out for Thai food, which was such a blast. We each got a different dish and extra plates and had a little taste of everything…that is soooo the way to do it! Once we were thoroughly stuffed with Phad Thai, we drove over to catch the 7:25 showing of “My Sister’s Keeper.” Yea, I started crying during the opening credits and cried through the entire movie. It’s hard when you have a little baby girl and the movie is about a little girl getting cancer! It was definitely different than the book, but very good. Well, time to get my house back together. It looks like a birthday hurricane hit it!!! There is tissue and gifts, cookies, and dishes everywhere!!
