Can I just say that I feel like the luckiest girl in the world!! My birthday is in 3 days and my amazing hubbie just ordered me my dream gift…a pump-driven Delonghi Espresso Machine!!!

Oh my gosh, so excited. Can’t even tell you!! I love drinking lattes, I love the process of making espresso, and I love how it makes you feel (not the caffeine part-well that too I guess)- but rather that peaceful, relaxing “I’m on a vacation” feeling. It’s the same feel I get when I eat fresh tropical fruit in the morning like sun ripened pineapple, strawberries, and blueberries! Bliss. Oh yes…and my wonderful husband also found the right kind of memory for my parent’s old laptop that used to run like a slug, but is a really nice laptop that has less than a year of use on it. With the added memory (1 Gig) it is now super efficient and I am making it my own!!

Another great thing…Alli is driving over from Mill Creek to spend the night this Sunday and I’m so excited she’ll be there for my b-day on Monday…nothing like dear friends to celebrate with. We’re having a little picnic at the park with some close girlfriends that afternoon, then Teranne is driving up to join us for the matinee showing of “My Sister’s Keeper.” It looks like an awesome movie, but definitely a tear jerker! I’m bringing a box of Kleenex for sure. I read the book that the movie is based off of by Jodi Picoult. It was secular for sure, but very good and very touching. After the movie we’re going to a Thai food restaurant, I’ve been wanting to try…should be a fun day! They only happen once a year after all!!
